3. How much can I earn?
As with most things, you get out what you put in. We have put together a page demonstrating potential earnings here. Please be sure to visit our franchisee earnings calculator here as well. This tool will help you figure out how much you could make depending on the number of adverts on your website.

4. How much technical knowledge will I need?
If you can open and reply to an email, or browse through a standard website (such as this!) then you already have the required amount of technical knowledge to own a successful LocalWorm Franchise.

5. Would running a LocalWorm Franchise be suitable for me?

6. How many hours do I need to put in?
It really does depend on the individual. As a guide, we recommend between 5-10 hours per week. You do not however need to manage the Franchise every day of the week. This Franchise is very much part-time, although we do have several franchisees who run their website full-time. Generally speaking, the more time you put in, the more successful the Franchise is. This is the case with any franchise, whether based online or offline. Please read our testimonials page to hear what some of our franchisees think!

7. Can I set my own fees for directory listings?
Yes! Everything is completely customizable. You are completely in control of your franchise. Remember to check out this page to view the Control Panel that comes with EVERY LocalWorm Franchise. Every franchisee will have the power to delete listings, how much to charge for real estate. Every franchisee can disable or enable reviews and ratings, you can decide which news articles are posted on your website. Everything is fully customizable from start to finish - and extremely simple to boot.

8. How much support do you offer?
We believe that every franchisee should have access to support and training, at every step of the way. We offer training and support for the first 12 months absolutely free.

9. Are there any hidden costs?
No, there are no hidden costs. The only cost to you, the franchisee, is the cost to buy the franchise initially and the renewal fees at the end of every year (see question 10. below).

10. Are there any franchise fees?
We do not believe in limiting success by charging a percentage of your revenue, as many other Franchises often do. The only fees we charge are for renewing your territory annually. After the first year, if you wish to renew your franchised territory, the renewal fee is exactly 50% of the signup price. An example: You paid $7,000 for your brand new LocalWorm franchised territory for the first year. At the end of year 1, if you wish to renew for the second year, tyhe fee will be $3,500. The fee to renew for a third/fourth/fifth year (and so on) would again be $3,500. Remember that there is absolutely no obligation to renew at any point.

1. How easy is it to run a website like this?
Very easy. The team have been working hard to make your life as easy as possible. You'd be surprised how much of the website is automated - from the Local News feeds to the sending out of payment reminder emails. You do not need any technical knowledge to run a website in your area, all you need is a PC with internet connection an da desire to succeed! Please ask if you require a demonstration.

2. Can I see some screenshots of the Control Panel that I will receive?
We have created a page dedicated to showing you how the Control Panel looks and all the features available which will go live very soon. In the mean time there is also an introductory video now available! Please click here to view.

3. Do I need to know much about the Internet/e-Commerce?
No, you do not. The vast majority of our current franchisees have never owned a website before, and this is typically their first foray into making money online. We offer completely free support to all our franchisees for an unlimited period and our dedicated support team will help you iron out any problems you might have. 4. How often do I need to update my website?
It is entirely up to you. We recommend that you update the website at least once a week to keep all content current and up-to-date, however this is not a requirement.

5. If I require any extra features, will you do this for me?
Yes! If you would like any additions to be made to your website, your Franchise License Agreement covers this. We charge a reasonable hourly rate and a full quotation will be provided to you prior to the work commencing. Please contact the franchise team here for more information.

1. What are the different types of memberships for customers?
One of the great things about the LocalWorm franchise is that every franchisee can set their own rates to charge local busines owners. We recommend three different membership tariffs (though you can have as many as you wish), which we call "Standard", "Advanced" and "Premium" throughout this website. Each tariff has its own features: Premium being the most expensive as it is the most feature-rich. The more businesses who take out one of these memership types, the more money you make.
